Words often fall short of defining my work as a photographer but my best effort would be to say it is documentary in spirit while editorial in eye.

I love weddings and all that they represent. The promises you'll make. The loved ones you'll share the moments with. Right now you are planning how you'll celebrate and when we finally gather the day is going to be draped in joy and hope toward the future. I can't wait to be a witness.

That's why I'm a photographer — not because it's an assignment, but because I get to use my talent and skill to tell this story, with all its particularities and intimacies. What greater privilege is there than to be part of that with you?!

I shoot on both film and digital, and over a decade of weddings around the world has taught me that taste is one by far my most important tool.. even more important than the medium I'm shooting on. 

I live in Oklahoma City with my wife and our two daughters.
